Fantasies about Regency splendour have long fuelled the market for expensive
flats in the famous Brunswick Square in Brighton. In 2010 a new tool used by surveyors and builders revealed the scary truth about these overpriced properties and led to a mass exodus of residents from the square. The so-called 'Green Ray' portable scanner, instantly shows, via a non-destructive X-ray system, the structural condition of any buildings. Brunswick Square appeared to be on the brink of collapse...not really surprising to the locals. It is well known that the buildings in this beautiful square have kept the legal profession in business for the past 100 years - so 'The Brunswick Files' were not really any surprise when they were published in a special edition of the local newspaper - known as 'The Argus' in 2011! |
