The UK Virtual E-Government data centre (VEG) opened for interactive business in Westminster back in 2020. Permission was 'auto-granted' for the VEG centre in 2018, after a 10 year planning battle, when the automated conservation bot, known as 'e-nglish heritage' took over all cases referred to it by the UK council planning transputers. In fact, the digital acceptance certificate is still permanently projected on the old plasma screen that hangs in Tony Blair's office in No. 10!

UK VEG's distinctive WW2 battleship camouflage 'cloaking' system continues to cause problems. It has succeeded in hiding the building from airborne terrorist attack and from building conservationists. However there continue to be complaints from tourists, (both real and virtual) who feel slightly nervous about what might actually lie behind the building's facade; some even find that they cannot actually locate the building or even see it on their webcams!
