The Faulty Towers office development was built in 2005, a few years after the re-opening of the 'wobbly bridge'. Faulty Towers acts as a 'gateway' to the City of London and is configured to resemble a bull and bear. This scheme has been engineered to 'oscillate'. Each floor in the building is automatically stabilised and controlled by servo assisted computers, to provide a gentle 'wobble' - synchronised with the movements of the Footsie one hundred share index. This is extremely beneficial to the city workers resident in the building. The 'real time' floor movements give them instant feedback reflecting changes in the market and have greatly improved trading success.
